30 Days of Music: 13, 14, & 15

Day 13: A song you like from a genre you don’t.

Hmm, well I’m not a huge fan of country music. I don’t mind some of it…but most of the time it’s too…twangy? However, I do like Andy Grammer’s song Honey, I’m Good. Mostly because it’s a bit more pop like.

Day 14: Your favorite song from a musical (or opera.)

Gahhh, I don’t really watch musicals…or opera. But I do like Grease, so I’m going to go with You’re the One That I Want.

Day 15: A song you like to dance to (or makes you want to dance.)

This is a tough three for me. I don’t really dance either. I do the whole ‘stand there and sway’ type of thing. Although, I’m actually going to go with Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO. Not usually my taste, but I had this song stuck in my head a couple of years ago when I went through a haunted house, so I was actually dancing the whole way through it so that I wasn’t scared. I’m somewhat of a chicken. Some of the actors actually started dancing with me. It was fantastic.

30 Days of Music: 10, 11, & 12

10 – A song that makes you feel better when you’re down

Umm, I don’t usually listen to specific music when I’m down…which isn’t often in the first place. But I’ll go with a song that I heard for the first time not too long ago and I find it very soothing, I guess? xD Blinded by the Moonlight by The Amplifetes.

11 – Your favorite instrumental song

I don’t really listen to instrumental songs either…heh ^^; So, I’m going to pick a song from The Legend of Zelda because a lot of that is instrumental. This is the song that plays when you visit the Great Fairy’s Fountain.

12 – A song you’re ashamed you like

Okay, so I’ve never been a Bieber fan…ever, but one of his new songs is frickin’ catchy, damn it. So I choose Love Yourself by Justin Bieber.

30 Days of Music: 7, 8, & 9

Third music post! Steadily plugging away at it. Let me know if you join! :)

7 – A song you like to listen to on max volume

The Kid’s Aren’t All Right by The Offspring.

8 – Your favorite metal song

Hmmm, a tough one. I’m going to go with M.I.N.E (End This Way) by Five Finger Death Punch. I recently heard this one on Pandora and have been playing it lot. I just started listening to this band within the past year thanks to one of my old managers at work. I still need to listen to more of their stuff, but I really like the singer’s voice.

9 – A song that inspires you

I’ll go with Face Everything and Rise by Papa Roach.

30 Days of Music: 4, 5, & 6

My second music post! Feel free to join in and be sure to let me know if you do! :)

4 – Your favorite humorous song

My co-worker just shared this video with me a couple weeks ago and I thought it was fantastic. It’s a parody of Adele’s song, Hello, that talks about food cravings. The couple’s voices are amazing.

5 – Your favorite dark (or macabre) song

I’m going with another Three Days Grace song for this prompt, Pain.

6 – A song that’s special to you and someone else

Hmm, this one’s kind of tough for me. I usually don’t bond with people over specific songs. However, one of my close friends and I were creating a CD for a road trip and we decided to put Barbie Girl by Aqua on it just for fun. Now every time we go somewhere it must be played at an extremely high volume as we sing badly at the top of our lungs to it. Don’t judge me.

30 Days of Music: 1, 2, & 3

Hey all! I was tagged by Emily @ Embuhlee liest awhile ago to participate in the 30 Days of Music tag. Normally, I assume people would post one prompt for thirty days, but I’m going to copy Emily and only post ten times, each post containing three separate prompts. If you’ve been following my blog for awhile you wold know that unfortunately I’m just not capable of posting every single day. My excuses are laziness and work. Anyway, here are the first three prompts!

1 – The last song you listened to.

Bat Country by Avenged Sevenfold. If you knew me you probably wouldn’t think I listened to this type of music, but I do. These guys, Seether, Three Days Grace, and Breaking Benjamin are some of my favorites.

2 – Your favorite song of all.

Ughhh…why would this even be a prompt?! This is like asking what your favorite book of all would be! And we all know that struggle. Hmmm…I like a lot of different artists, songs, and types of music, but I suppose for this prompt I’ll use Dance With the Devil by Breaking Benjamin.

3 – Your favorite love song.

Although I’m not a super lovey-dovey person, there are a lot of love songs out there that I enjoy. For this spot, however, I will choose Over and Over by Three Days Grace.
