How do you feel when you find a typo/spelling error in a book??
Generally I don’t care all that much. Mistakes happen. However, if the whole book is riddled with errors left and right, I feel that’s an issue. I think, quite a few people had to read over this book before it was published. How could they not notice?!?! But I personally haven’t read a book like that.
If I spot a typo in a book, it completely throws me out of the storyline and it takes a while to get back into it, which is inconvenient, but I don’t mind much unless there’s a ton.
Sometimes I’ll use whiteout and a pen to fix it.

Yeah, I usually do a small double-take and think, that’s not right, but then keep plugging away. I’m way too lazy to fix it xD

I used to cut out curse words as well, and I still do it for most books, but for some, there are just too many for it to be practical.

I kind of do that with certain names. Usually really long ones, or ones that I can’t pronounce. I mentally shorten them or just don’t even try reading them…I’ll just glance at the overall word and be like ‘that one character’…^^;

I do that with names I can’t Provence as well. I just skim through them.
For example:
Chaol from Throne of Glass
Yrene from Throne of Glass
Kilorn from Red Queen
Others that I cannot remember right now.
