WWW Wednesdays #22 – December 9th

WWW Wednesdays

WWW Wednesdays is a weekly bookish meme formally hosted by MizB of A Daily Rhythm, and revived by Sam of Taking on a World of Words. This meme consists of answering the following three questions:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

What am I currently reading?

At this exact moment, nothing.

What did I recently finish reading?

16160769 Last night at work I finished up the twelfth book in the Kitty Norville series, Kitty in the Underworld, by Carrie Vaughn. The series is coming to an end, only two more books to go, and I have to say I’ve enjoyed it. I liked certain books better than others – for instance this one was just okay – but overall it’s been a fun series.

What do I think I’ll read next?

6511018273946I still plan on reading the twelfth book in the A Series of Unfortunate Events series,The Penultimate Peril, by Lemony Snicket. Seriously, I do. Even if this is the third time I’ve put it in my WWW post as what I would like to read next. I’m just…taking my time? I’m also going to start the thirteenth book in the Kitty Norville series, Low Midnight, by Carrie Vaughn. I’m fairly excited about this installment in the series because for this book the main character is Cormac, Kitty’s human packmate and former werewolf hunter. He’s one of my favorite characters in the series so I’m okay with Kitty being pushed to the side for this book so that Cormac can hog the spotlight a bit, even though he generally prefers sticking to the shadows.
